Sexual Harassment comes in many forms our past cases represent a wide array of harassment and discrimination scenarios: We have successfully handled cases where women have been demeaned and harassed by misogynistic managers simply because they were women. We have also successfully handled cases involving victims of Unwitnessed Sexual assault in the workplace, we have resolved the matters confidentially and with significant financial compensation. We have successfully sued and reached a confidential settlement when our client became pregnant, and was told by her manager that she needed to Get rid of the damn thing. Several of our cases have involved sexually hostile name calling that would not stop even after being reported to human resources. We handled a case against a major transportation company in which the harasser made a habit of touching his genitals in close proximity to our client. We won a jury verdict and then settled confidentially out of court for more than the verdict. One case involved a gross failure to provide bathroom facilities for women on a construction site, resulting in extreme humiliation. Sexual Harassment is not always a heterosexual interaction. In one of our cases two heterosexual Hispanic females sued on the basis of hostility and ostracism by their gay and lesbian management group. We were able to settle confidentially, and our clients received compensatory damages allowing them to buy homes. This case also established major protections for employees subject to mandatory arbitrations by their employment contracts. In another case our client, a woman, was experiencing hostility by a gay male manager because of her youth and gender. Sexual Harassment can be done by a woman to a man. We have successfully settled a case in which a female head of a non-profit organization was making unwanted advances towards a younger male subordinate who repeatedly and clearly rejected her advances. Our client had the same symptoms that female clients experienced including embarassment, anxiety, depression, difficulty sleeping and desire to stay away from the workplace. Sexual harassment is not always about sex, but it is always about power. Sexual Harassment happens to older women. We have represented clients in numerous instances where managers have become hostile to older women who did not appeal to their sexual fancies. Many of these women were forced into leaving their jobs. Sexual Harassment cases often involve retaliation for bringing it up as an issue, and often involve more than one person. One such case we resolved involved a female and male coworkers. The female was being harassed, and the male opposed the harassment by other male coworkers. Both were retaliated against for their complaints. We were able to secure recovery for both. Your prior history doesn't mean that you deserve to have your rights violated and will not be taken into consideration. One of our past cases involved a reformed sex slave and prostitute who was being verbally abused in a new job as a receptionist. Despite her past history we were able to obtain substantial settlement figures. Then with the same defendant we represented another woman who despite having endured the harassment for over 10 years was able to reach a successful settlement. We have also successfully settled cases of race discrimination.
